BURN RULES

From October 1st  - November 15th,  the City of Clinton will allow open burning for those with lots one acre or larger on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays between the hours of:  10 am – 5 pm, weather and wind permitting.  Fires must be no closer than 25 feet to a structure or other combustible material.  Open burning is limited to:  piles of clean, dry, untreated wood and lumber and landscape waste.  The piles should not be burned larger than 3 feet in diameter and 2 feet high.  

 All fires must be attended by an adult with an extinguishing agent readily available.
