Governor's Proclamation Update
Changes for the Ericksen Community Center based on the Governor's Procalamtion November 16th, 2020:
All Youth/Adult Sports programs are suspended until the Proclamation is lifted
No use of the Lower Level for Open Gym or Drop-In is permitted at this time and the area will remain closed until further notice.
Fitness Area in the Upper Level will remain open to adults 18 years of age and older with a room capacity of 15 people. As of now no high school students allowed in the Fitness Center at all, even though they are 16, 17 or 18.
We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.
Your safety and your children's safety is our top priority.
If you are having any Covid-19 symptoms, please do not enter the building. We will continue with the Covid-19 guidelines of no more than 10 people in the lobby with a distance of six feet apart.

WELCOME TO THE PARKS & RECREATION DEPARTMENT

The Parks and Recreation Department and Administrative Office, better known as the Ericksen Community Center, is located on the northern most part of 148 acres of Emma Young Park. We have three ASA certified softball fields, four tennis courts, a cross country running trail, a playground, and Clinton's only public pond. The Parks and Recreation Department offers over 170 recreation programs designed for all ages from preschoolers through young adults, adults and seniors. Implementation of these programs, is accomplished by two full-time program professionals, a full-time administrative specialist, two permanent part-time center staff, 150 seasonal and part-time activity staff, 300 volunteer coaches and program volunteers.
