Landlord Lien Exemption Procedure
All dogs, cats, and ferrets over the age of four months shall be licensed with the city of Clinton. This requirement does not apply to nonresident owners keeping a dog, cat or ferret within the city for less than 30 days in 12 consecutive months. (Ord. 2485, passed 11-27-2012) Penalty, see § 10.99
The City of Clinton offers a lien exemption to a landlord whose tenant is responsible for the sewer/solid waste charges incurred during their tenancy. The following is an itemization of the procedure that allows for this exemption, and the form.
This form needs to be completed when a tenant moves in and when a tenant vacates a property.
